Chris LeDoux NFR Programs

This is an article from the 1970 Nation Finals Rodeo Program,  page 20. If you ever have the chance to pick this one up do it. It has a load of information on some great cowboys.

Chris LeDoux, $10,957. Another rookie, like Joe Alexander of Cora, Wyo., Chris LeDoux mixed with the best and came out on the long end.  From Kaycee, Wyo., LeDoux won $660 at Gladewater, Tex., and $641 at Helena, Mont., and, when the competition got really keen, he placed second at Pendleton.  He made his charge in July and was closing strong throughout the homestretch to make the Finals.

This is an article from the 1974 Nation Finals Rodeo Program, page 15. There is a little typo in the article, it should read " ... who now lives in Kaycee, Wyoming ..."
Chris LeDoux $24,429. This Mississippi-born cowboy who now lives in Kaycee, Mo., has a couple of successful careers working for him. Besides enjoying his best year in rodeo, this 26 year-old cowhand has a couple of albums and tape decks out in the country and western field, recorded at Nashville last year. he is an accomplished guitar-picker, singer and composer.  In his fifth full year in competition, this six-foot, 170-pounder comes into the Finals with a shot at second place. He was 10th in 1970, 12th in 1971, and 11th last year. he was in the top 20 in 1972 but missed a Finals berth.  LeDoux turned pro in 1969 after a successful college career.  This year he won the average at Deadwood, Graybull Wyo., Akron, Colo., Yuma, Ariz., and split at Casper, Wyo. Chris won $1,826 at Houston.
